I am back and i couldn't be more happy. I have two animals here: Lavie (James' (my brow in law) dog) and my cat Stryder....the drooling cat. However he isn't drooling as much now....he drooled for almost 3 days strait when we got him here...now i think he's almost dried out. He enjoys being an inside cat very much. The two look to be getting along for the most part...and i'm not worried about the dog tormenting the cat...no..she's to nice...it's the cat, i'm afraid, that is beating up the puppy....but only sometimes. lol

Most everything is unpacked and the best part of the move is.....we have a dishwater now XD....thank goodness..i hate washing dishes. XP

Well, we slept out on the futon, and it worked! Once we settled in it took me only 20 minutes to pass out XD. We still stayed up late, so didn't sleep much. We had to go feed the horses and one of em....*shakes head* Octavia was slightly bleeding from her nose. So we on;y slightly paniced and called the vet. He wasn't making farm calls today and all we had was a car..... -.-; So we call my father-in-law, who was headed out anyway to get his trailor (he often helps these people with their horses) He was to be headed on a run (he also transports horses cross-country). When we called, he already knew which horse it was, aparently....she does that all the time...gets sick and has nose-bleeds often....-.-;;;; Just to be safe and to get her an anti-histamin for her cold ....lol..sad that i paniced over that. Well, we loaded her up and he dropped her off at the vet before taking off. We set free the other mare, Octavia's daughter Katie, to run with the other mares that just roam free across the property...if we hadn't she woula broken fences (burning herself on the way through the hot wire -.-) to get to them anyway. So that means i don't need to worry about her, and just focus on the two males. So that job just got easier and i'm relieved.

When we got home, we passed out and slept real nice....i just woke up at 5 and i feel rested, unlike i have in a while ^.^ so i am pleased.

Well....the heat index here yesterday was 116.....o.o; my gawd....i really hate the summer weather.

Other than the heat driving my mad...since i'm tacking care of the horses and the dogs, there's lots of dust and sand...of which i am also allergic (i live in Texas and i'm allergic to dust and peppers....very very sad -.-;;) I'm also allergic to hay.....*sigh*...it makes my arms break out....and any time i handle hay and dust at the same time.....i get sick. -_-** Then there's the matter of unwashed dogs and my allergy to their dander. If animals are clean i'm not really affected, but since they are filthy and covered in dust....i've become even worse off. We went to feed this morning and by the time we were finish, my eyes became severly irritated, red and itchy, i started sneezing all over and i felt like i just couldn't get the dirt and hair off my face...even though i had....i felt like i was covered. So i washed off when i got back....but my nose is still pretty runny, i'm slightly sick, but i still gotta do this through monday...so i shall be sick in the meantime.

In other news, the insomnia was worse, but now i really know the cause of it, not just the stress either; this is an old and poorly cared for apartment complex, roaches live in the walls you can't get rid of em...and the ac vents for the back rooms are clogged. It's the heat that is keeping me up. The master bedroom is on the west end....with clogged ac vents, so it is hot and muggy, very sticky. We've decided that for the remainder of our stay here we are going to fold out the futon in the living room, where all the air goes...nice and cool ^.^. Maybe i can sleep more...i only got 3 hours last night due to the heat and having to feed animals this morning.
